Race Date Finalized for 2025 PRI Hoosier 500
INDIANAPOLIS – The PRI Hoosier 500 confirmed today the official race date for the 2025 event, with the fifth running of the race scheduled for Sunday, December 14. Race officials landed on this date following a collaborative approach with the iRacing community.
“We are excited to finalize our 2025 race date for Sunday, December 14,” said Tanner Watkins, president and co-owner of the PRI Hoosiser 500.
“Our goal is to create an event that promotes participation and engagement with as many sim racers as possible, and this date helps us accomplish that. The Hoosier 500 would like to thank PRI for their flexibility in finding an optimal date for our fifth running of this great race.”
Finalization of the this year’s race date precedes an announcement on Monday, January 6 which will reveal the full event schedule for the 2025 PRI Hoosier 500, including practice days and qualifications weekend.

The PRI Hoosier 500 was created in 2019 in an effort to personalize Indianapolis’ Memorial Day classic into a virtual “500” for sim racing competitors – complete with authenticity that positions the event firmly as the World’s Greatest Sim Race.
