Entry List Released for Anderson Speedway Veterans 100 at the PRI Hoosier 500

Anderson Speedway Veterans 100

A 60-car field representing seven nations is set to contest the third running of the Anderson Speedway Veterans 100 on Saturday, December 13, as part of Simperior Shakedown Saturday and the return of a beloved tradition to Hoosier 500 weekend.

The Anderson Speedway Veterans 100 is an ode to the old Freedom 100 once held on Carb Day at the Indianapolis 500, and its previous winners include Lluc Ibanez (2019) and Brandon Traino (2020). Unlike the Hoosier 500, the Veterans 100 uses the Dallara IL-15 chassis — the same model run in the real-world Indy NXT series.

All 60 entrants are also on the entry list for the 2025 PRI Hoosier 500, with the field reflecting a global cross-section of talent that includes drivers from the United States, Canada, Netherlands, United Kingdom, Sweden, Norway, Brazil, and Japan.

Former race winner Brandon Traino (#9) returns as one of the marquee names, headlining a deep lineup from Team I5G that includes Alexis Newsome (#33), Brendan Lichtenberg (#25), and Matthew Pawelski (#75). Powerslide Motorsports adds serious firepower of its own with Adam Blocker (#74), Alexander Russell (#27), and Jason Brophy (#88).

International depth is a defining feature of this year’s entry list. Canada’s Adam Crane (#29) brings major-event pedigree, while the Netherlands sends a pair of threats in Julien Altena (#11) and Geordi Vermeulen (#23).

The United Kingdom contributes independent stalwart Dylan Freckelton (#46) as well as Oliver McGown (#48), Sweden is represented by Seb Alexander (#49), and Norway enters Andreas Eik (#76). Brazil’s Elyaldo Henrique (#94) and Vítor Guilherme (#840) continue the country’s strong tradition in open-wheel sim racing, while Japan’s Kevin Birrell (#122) brings Pacific-region representation to the growing international roster.

The Sim Racing Club at Purdue makes up one of the largest collectives in the field, including Jacob Bradley (#80), Drew Szuch (#82), Jackson Loving (#742), and several teammates who will proudly carry the university banner.

What sets the Veterans 100 apart is it’s own reputation for tight packs, dramatic momentum shifts, and photo-finish potential — hallmarks of IL-15 racing. The combination of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway oval and the Indy NXT chassis consistently produces some of the most explosive racing on the calendar, and the return of the event after a five-year absence adds another layer of anticipation.

With 60 entries, seven nations represented, and a blend of veterans, prospects, and established stars, the stage is set for the most competitive Veterans 100 yet. The green flag drops at 2:00 PM ET on P1 Broadcasting, once again delivering a fast, fierce, and unforgettable sprint as PRI Hoosier 500 race weekend comes to life.
