Logo unveiled for 2026 PRI Hoosier 500

INDIANAPOLIS – Building on a successful 2025 running of the World’s Greatest Sim Race, Performance Racing Industry (PRI) will return as title sponsor for the 2026 running of the Hoosier 500. With today’s announcement of a renewed partnership with PRI, Hoosier 500 officials unveiled the logo for this year’s race.
The PRI Hoosier 500 is a sim race contested at the virtual Indianapolis Motor Speedway on the iRacing platform, the world’s premier motorsport racing simulation. By providing the most authentic “500” experience, it strives to be the crown jewel special event for open-wheel racers on the iRacing platform.
This year’s race will be held on Sunday, December 13.
“We are thrilled to continue our partnership with PRI to advance the exposure and credibility of sim racing in the motorsports world,” said Tanner Watkins, president and co-owner of the Hoosier 500. “We are here to serve the sim racing community through our event, and PRI is equally motivated to help grow the industry. Our team is pumped to get rolling on planning this year’s race to make it bigger and better than the last.”
“PRI has been the focal point of helping take the Hoosier 500 to greater heights, and with their partnership in 2026 we hope to continue that trend,” said Ryan Schuld, chief development officer and co-owner of the Hoosier 500. “I couldn’t be more excited to have such a great partner returning for 2026!”
Since its inception in 1986, Performance Racing Industry (PRI) has served as the motorsports industry’s key source for trends, merchandising ideas, new products, business strategies, and more. Through the world’s premier auto racing trade show in Indianapolis, Indiana, and a dedicated membership program, PRI provides the motorsports industry with ongoing legislative advocacy, market research, and access to the latest trends and technology.
With the growing Sim Racing Arena at the PRI Show each December plus initiatives to promote sim racing through the year, PRI has made it known how valuable the sim racing ecosystem is to the future of motorsport.
“PRI is proud to team up with the Hoosier 500 and continue our mission to elevate sim racing within the greater motorsports industry,” says JP Hyden, director of business development and marketing at PRI. “Our mission leads us to help shape the future of motorsports, and sim racing is an unmistakable part of our sport’s evolution. Through strategic partnerships like the Hoosier 500, we are excited to play a role in the momentum pushing sim racing forward.”

ABOUT THE PRI HOOSIER 500
The PRI Hoosier 500 was created in 2019 in an effort to personalize Indianapolis’ Memorial Day classic into a virtual “500” for sim racing competitors – complete with authenticity that positions the event firmly as the World’s Greatest Sim Race. The goal of the event is to present racers with the closest experience possible to what drivers in open-wheel racing enjoy each May. The PRI Hoosier 500 is owned and operated by Indiana residents Ryan Schuld and Tanner Watkins, who are dedicated to elevating the event in the sim racing industry.
