New Track Record Hoosier 500

INDIANAPOLIS – The PRI Hoosier 500 has partnered with New Track Record to become the Official Podcast for the 2025 event. The media platform has been a mainstay in open-wheel racing and will make its first significant foray into sim racing coverage.

“It’s an exciting day to align with a group like New Track Record to help tell the story of the PRI Hoosier 500,” said Tanner Watkins, president and co-owner of the PRI Hoosier 500. “I have known Caleb since the Open-Wheels days, and his commitment to producing an enriching and informational platform to talk about open-wheel racing has been evident. We are excited to be a part of that in 2025.”

As Official Podcast of the 2025 PRI Hoosier 500, New Track Record will feature multiple guest appearances for those involved in the race.

This includes hosting the 4D Racewear Pole Award winner after qualifications weekend, the 2025 PRI Hoosier 500 race winner following race day, co-owners Schuld and Watkins in pre-event promotion, and additional unique guests to be announced later.

“We are excited to partner with the PRI Hoosier 500 as the Official Podcast,” said Caleb Hatch, founder of New Track Record. “New Track Record is a weekly podcast by IndyCar fans, for IndyCar fans – and we are excited to make our first step into covering virtual IndyCar racing with the PRI Hoosier 500!”

New Track Record is a weekly show hosted by Hatch, a play-by-play broadcaster for Taylor University, and Justin Kenny, co-founder of OutsideTheHuddle.net. The show has been focused specifically on coverage of the NTT INDYCAR SERIES since its founding in 2017 out of Fort Wayne, Indiana.

The latest episodes for New Track Record can be found on major podcasting platforms such as Apple Podcasts, Spotify, iHeart, and PodBean. Fans can keep up with New Track Record by following them on X (@IndyCarPodcast) and Patreon.
